· GARDENBED INSTALLATION
A bare pool surround turned into a private tropical courtyard with paved and timber zones.
The site
An older Capalaba pool with cracked concrete coping, no shade and open sightlines to two neighbouring properties.
Our approach
New paving and a timber deck define two distinct zones, while a dense screen of heliconia, palms and giant strelitzia closes the boundary without crowding the water.
Detail
Planting was set into raised stone beds to keep root systems away from the pool shell and simplify future maintenance.
