Questions we're asked
Which turf variety is best for South East Queensland?
Buffalo varieties handle shade and wear well, while couch and zoysia suit full sun and a finer finish. We recommend based on your sun, traffic and how much mowing you want.
When can I walk on new turf?
Keep off it as much as possible for the first two to three weeks. Light foot traffic is usually fine after that, with full use around six weeks.
How much water does new turf need?
Daily deep watering for the first fortnight, then tapering off. We leave you a simple watering schedule on completion.
Do you remove the old lawn?
Yes - clearing, weed treatment and rubbish removal are included so the new turf goes onto a clean, level base.
