FAQs

Questions we're asked

Do I need approval for a retaining wall?

In most South East Queensland council areas walls under one metre generally don't need approval, but height, boundaries and surcharge loads change that. We assess your site during the free inspection and tell you plainly what's required before quoting.

How long does a paving project take?

A typical residential courtyard or patio runs from a few days to two weeks depending on excavation, drainage and the size of the area. You get a stage-by-stage timeline before we start.

Can you work on a steep or difficult site?

Yes. Sloping Redlands and Brisbane blocks are common for us - we terrace, retain and re-level so the space becomes flat, safe and usable.

Do you handle drainage as part of the build?

Drainage is planned into every hard landscaping job. Falls, ag lines and surface drainage are set out before paving goes down, not fixed afterwards.
